FOCUS & CLARITY

DO WE GET LOST IN A SEA OF DISTRACTIONS?

Shopping & holidays just go together. Whether it be at the mall or at the market there are so many choices and we are trying to be vigilant in our focus. However our eyes move from one thing to the next, we receive a text, a baby cries near-by, it's sort of a "sea of distractions." Yes, we get distracted and sometimes even forget what we came for in the first place! Sound familiar?

Current scientific study of attention goes far beyond the study of vigilance, SINCE OUR ATTENTION SKILLS DETERMINE HOW WELL WE

OTHER FOCUS:  smooths our connections to the people in our lives
OUTER FOCUS: lets us navigate the larger world
