HEALING NATURALLY

ESSENTIAL OILS HEAL NATURALLY

My passion is to find ways to live better with more energy, more positive feelings, more hope, more health, 

and more joy. It's a discovery worth making and a gift worth receiving. It's like opening a box you never knew existed and found it has answers in it to make your life better. I have found part of it is about lessening the chemicals that our world claims heal us. Sometimes they do but other times they make us have so many side effects that they create more problems. 

I always have been a Doubting Thomas so when I first heard about essential oils I rolled my eyes. I kinda looked like the woman in this photo and I laugh at myself now. But the more I studied, researched, tried them, and realized ESSENTIAL OILS REALLY WORK those feelings went away. In fact, my life improved in ways I never imagined. I cannot help but
spread the news and that's is what make me start my Facebook Page: Mind Body Heal and this blog. 

Essential Oils when blended with a healthy lifestyle of good sleep, exercise, water drinking and whole foods is a winning combination. 

When I'm "on" track (because we ALL fall off-track) life is
really good. The right pathway feels great! I am on the same road YOU ARE ON. The road of learning a better way of living. I don't believe that "everything" makes us sick so what difference does it make to TRY TO BE HEALTHY. That's a cop-out.

CELL PHONE DAMAGE

          This year during MY DAUGHTER'S FRIEND'S mammogram it was discovered that in EXACTLY THE SAME SHAPE AS HER CELL PHONE SHE HAD DEVELOPED BREAST CANCER. 

Dr. John West, World Known Breast Cancer Specialist in the city in which I live, Orange, California, was on Dr. Oz on December 6, 2013. He is heading out extensive research on cell phone cancer causing damage in women who store their cell phones in their bras. Dr. West is the doctor I go to every year to have my own mammograms since my mother is a breast cancer survivor.

Cell Phones are now a way-of-life and my
daughter's friend is not the first woman who has experienced cell phone damage. Nor is she the first who is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer because of it.  The tissue in a breast is thin and the battery gives out radiation. 

Men should be worried also since their pockets in which they store their cell phones are close to some pretty thin tissue also.  That habit in men could cause or contribute to testicular cancer. Studies are underway. 

Why wait for the results - it's already  happening to people all over the globe. Why would we want to take a chance? We are still learning a lot about cell phones. We "like" the bigger more powerful batteries on our Smart Phones but could they be causing more issues than they are worth? It's under research but in the meantime why not protect ourselves and at least leave them in our purses or shoulder bags where we store our iPads, tablets & paperwork. And they are great for men or women!

It's good we are getting away from using the cell phone while we hold it to our ears and head.  So many people have woken up to the fact that THAT is causing brain cancer. NEVER let your child use it in that way either as their skulls and skin is thinner that ours!

This is a busy time of the year for almost everyone. Sometimes we have to take a moment out to do
something that brings you to a place that's called
JOY IN THE MOMENT
What is it for you?
Someone said today,
"Can't have lasting happiness with feeling grateful."
So like I've said before smiling babies and children make me happy. And I love pets.
Just pure and simple that's it.  Combine those two things and it's instant joy for me.



It's easy to find CHILDREN WHO just know 
PURE JOY
on a grass roots level

NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE DOING THEY MAKE IT FUN AND THEY SPREAD JOY WITH THEIR SMILES
more than adults anywhere. And that brings me joy!
We can learn so much from children 
WHILE THEY ARE LEARNING ABOUT LIFE AND
THE WORLD AROUND THEM.... 

OK, that's what I like and where my head goes when I need to plan to be happy...I am grateful for new life and I see it in the eyes of the
young. The surprising thing is - we can have it too! It's a decision away. Don't isolate yourself - get out there and make your happiness. Plan it, seek it, make it happen.

Make that decision if even for a small moment. Figure out what you are grateful for on a pure level and seek after it.  It will make your holiday season brighter and perhaps start a tradition of joy for you to find it on any ol' day at all.

It's that time of year when we eat, drink and be merry. Because we take pleasure in the camaraderie of family and friends, we tend to over stuff ourselves with food. We enjoy one party meal after the other that is loaded with high calorie, high fat cuisine, right?

We tend to throw caution to the wind and say, "Why bother with worrying about watching what we eat after all it's the holidays."  And we quickly learn that feeling "GUILTY" gets us no where.

Extra fat isn't fun and THERE ISN'T ANY MIRACLE TO RID FAT FROM EVERYDAY FEASTS EXCEPT EXERCISE....DAILY EXERCISE. 

HERE'S THE EXERCISE RECIPE:

EXERCISE... BEFORE BREAKFAST RIGHT WHEN YOU WAKE UP... AFTER AN OVERNIGHT ABSTENTION FROM FOOD IS THE IDEAL TIME. 
It can lessen the impact of Christmas feasting. 

HERE'S THE STUDY: 
A study was done at Catholic University inLeuven, Belgium, with 28 on men divided into three groups. They all agreed to eat the same high carbohydrate high calorie breakfast:




*  One-group agreed to EAT the breakfast WITHOUT any kind of EXERCISE. 
*  The second-group ATE the high carbohydrate breakfast BEFORE a regimen of strenuous EXERCISE
*  The third-group did the strenuous EXERCISES BEFORE EATING the same high calorie high carbohydrate breakfast. 

RESULT:
The third group did not gain any weight, burned more fat and had negative signs of insulin
resistance. Proving that your one-hour exercise plan in the fasting state is much better than exercising after a high carbohydrate high calorie meal. THIS STUDY indicated that exercise in the fasting state is much more effective than exercise after consumption of a high caloric diet.

SOCIAL OBESITY?

......Extra weight affects a lot of areas of one's life and socially is certainly one of them. Today there are more people over-weight than ever before and it's global. The estimate now is 1 in 5 deaths is linked to obesity today. 
Your quality of life may be lower, you may not be able to do things you'd normally enjoy as easily as you'd like, and you may have trouble participating in family activities. A lot of people avoid public places and one may even encounter discrimination. That could include your job, your social life, your relationship with you kids, friends, or family. 
Obesity can affect your sleep big time. Sleep apnea is one way that your sleep is extremely affected. The fatty tissue at the back of your throat prevents your air passage to be clear when you sleep. A person can actually stop breathing several times an hour. A sleep evaluation is needed and perhaps a C-Pap machine is necessary for you to get a good night's sleep as pictured on right. A member of my family stops breathing 31 times an hour and wears a c-pap breathing machine in order to sleep.  She was never getting into REM sleep which is necessary for mental clarity, memory, and energy. She does now but needs to wear this type of breathing apparatus every night. 
The doctor says there are three areas one needs balance: exercise = food intake (calories in and calories out), hydration for your organs = water, and sleep = mental alertness.  GREAT ADVICE! He said for the right water intake: figure your weight pretend it's ounces cut it in half and that's how much water you should be drinking a day to hydrate your body.
