ESSENTIAL OILS are

DEPRESSION'S MASK

That simple statement uplifted her and her point was that we should all realize, "that it's always the right time to let someone feel appreciated & ACCEPTED."

SKIN + SUN = DANGER

THE SUN LOOKS INNOCENT
BUT WHEN WE HAVE TOO MUCH OF IT OUR SKIN HAS A MEMORY AND OVER TANNING AT ANY TIME IN OUR LIVES IT REMEMBERS.
AND 
Years later we can develop skin cancer that can cause us to have multiple skin surgeries on our nose, ears, under our eyes and other parts of our body. IT'S NOT SO ATTRACTIVE WHEN CHUNKS OF YOUR SKIN NEEDS TO BE REMOVED

MY PERSONAL STORY:
My prior husband died of skin cancer related brain tumors. He had 13-brain tumors from a skin cancer on his lower leg. It was NOT a great way to go. He had a very healthy lifestyle: ran six days a week for exercise in the sun, loved veggies, ate little meat, rarely had sweets and drank lots of water. But he did not  believe in sunscreen & he did not believe in having his skin checked out by a Dermatologist once a year.  He felt if you burned a few times that would turn into a tan, he felt that looked healthy and he liked to be tan. Bad theory. He died way too young.

Most skin cancers are preventable. 
To protect yourself, follow these skin cancer prevention tips:

    • 1. Avoid the sun during the middle of the day. It's the worst sun rays possible. 
    • 2. Wear sunscreen year-round. Those with short hair should wear it on the top of their scalp and on the tops of their ears. 
    • 3. Wear protective clothing: like hats & clothing that has protection. Please note that those who live in high elevation have more of a chance of skin cancer. 
    • 4. Avoid tanning beds. Tanning beds emit UV rays and can increase your risk of skin cancer. 
    • 5. Be aware of sun-sensitizing medications. Some common prescription and over-the-counter drugs, including antibiotics, can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. And creams that lighten brown spots.
    • 6. Check your skin regularly and report changes to your doctor. Examine your skin often with a mirror for new skin growths or changes in existing moles, freckles, bumps and birthmarks. See a dermatologist at least once a year to check for skin cancer. 
    Many have turned to "spray-on" tans thinking it is so much safer:

      A chemical called Dihydroxyacetone, 
      also known as DHA
