ANGER IS DANGER

ANGER SHATTERS

Much like this photo there really isn't anything great about out-of-control-ANGER it's shattering, makes us see with less clarity, and usually needs repairing after the impact.

Even a new baby can cause stress that can bring anger due to lack of sleep, not eating right, and adjustments even as sweet as they are.
Even some of life's planned events bring frustrations that can lead to anger are: a new baby, job, a new home, a move, a new relationship or even a new car.  Why? These live-events bring change to our lives, something new to learn and  takes time for a learning curve. But they can cause stress that can determine our anger level.
My Life Experience Example:
Several years ago a friend of mine called me while I was at work. She is maniac depressive and was having trouble controlling her anger towards her 18 month old son. She locked herself in her bedroom so she would not hurt her son. She called me to walk her through the anger. She needed her medication, she needed a small time-out, and she needed for me to talk her "down" from her anger. I was able to walk her through it with deep breathing and positive feedback. She was ok within 10-15 minutes. 
While all of us will not have that severe of a situation we can all relate to becoming irritated to the brim. We might not need to "dial-a-friend" to protect a child but we do relate to talking ourselves down from anger....counting to ten before speaking, walking  outside for a 10 minute break, leaving the room and take 10-long deep breaths. Whatever we do we can prepare ourselves with the best preparation:
