EXERCISE FEEDS THE MIND

IS THERE A CONNECTION BETWEEN EXERCISE & THE MIND
YES!

My friend, Nina, heads out all aerobics at the Orem Recreation Center in Orem, Utah!  She is one wise woman with three adult children.  There are some weeks she teaches 20 classes a week that includes Cardio, Zumba and Yoga!  Her life is a symbol for what she stands for which is how a healthy workout  once a day keeps your mind clear of stress and brings clarity.  She is a user of Essential Oils and uses them in her Yoga class during cool down.  She recently (2-years ago) has taken her health to another level by eliminating all meat and practicing the vegan lifestyle.  She has improved her health with leaps and bounds!

I'm not as brave as Nina nor do I work out more than once a day but I am a bit of a health advocate.  We've all heard of "runner's high" and it's anti-depresant results is true!  The endorphins created during a cardio workout ease the stress hormones in our body!  That should help in our relationships and our career creativity!

Exercise makes an impact on everyone's brain on so many levels.  It not only boosts our heart rate and pumps more oxygen to the brain it aids the "release of a plethora of hormones, all of which participate in aiding and providing a nourishing environment for the growth of BRAIN CELLS."  IT EVEN CREATES GROWTH OF NEW NEURONAL CONNECTIONS IN OUR BRAIN!  Exercise is for all ages:

Nina has shared with me that an 18 minute cardio workout a day is all we need to sharpen our brain and help us keep fit.  She has also taught me that we should include stretching as part of a program after our strength training.  That's a subject for another blog.

I started running when my 3rd child was 4 months old in the fields behind our vacation spot in Hawaii. It was to become a 15 year relationship that I grow to love and depend on to calm my stress even through a very sad divorce leaving me with three children under 8.  I attribute that routine as one of three in keeping me sane during some heart-aching times.  I changed it up to a more complete workout at the gym.  It makes all the difference in my day.  I let things roll off my back more easily and I have more energy.

I always follow up my workout with a great hot shower and essential oils.  I love peppermint and lemon essential oils because they lift my spirit!  And Melaleuca Oil to ward off infections and boost my immune system.
I am delighted to find Spark Naturals Essential Oils providing an affordable way to include EOs in our lives.  I am proud to represent them to you and hope you will try them.  When you do use my 10% off coupon code:  sunshine818 after you click on this link:  http://www.sparknaturals.com/
